Member of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida Trial Bar, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Former prosecutor and Assistant State Attorney with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office. Long time partner with Ellis Rubin, who prior to his death, was one on the most well-known and respected criminal defense attorneys in the United States. Mr. Rubin was the first to utilize the defenses of television intoxication, battered spouce syndrome and nymphomania in the courts of Florida. Together, we were the first to prove that the Broward Sherriff's Office Miranda Warning Form was unconstitutional, thereby excluding numerous Defendants' confessions. As a result, countless numbers of convictions in Broward County, Florida were overturned and/or Defendants freed. Mr. Rubin was the attorney who successfully lifted the NFLblackouts on television. Our practice focused on representing the underdog and fighting for their rights. I have continued his legacy. Numerous cases covered on local and/or national television as well as the local and national print media. Tried well in excess of 200 cases before judge and jury at the State and Federal levels. Have successfully represented criminal defendants and appeared in courts throughout the United States.
